The number “4” from the “40” was designed to depict a dragon’s head, which represents Cambodian land. The colour blue represents the constitutional monarchy of Cambodia. The AFEO logo is placed in the middle of the number “40” to symbolise AFEO’s strength over forty years. The ten blades signify the ten member countries with gold as the AFEO corporate colour. The gold from the word “CAMBODIA” also represents the Sovannaphum Land. The word “CAFEO” in green colour represents the vast diversity of Cambodia’s natural beauty. The country’s rich culture can be seen with the five dancers in traditional costumes performing the Apsara dance. “Changing Role of Engineers in Industry 4.0 Era” is the theme for CAFEO 40. The fourth industrial revolution is instrumental in the leap toward advancements in computers and automation, by enhancing it with smart and autonomous systems supported by data and machine learning. A combination of new technologies such as cyber-physical systems and the Internet of Things make smart industry possible. This evolution of new technologies will lead to higher efficiency.
