THIS IS THEIR STORY...91 THE AFEO CONFERMENT AFEO CONFERMENTS Nominations for this award are made on the prescribed form and accompanied with a biodata/cv of the candidate. Nominations for consideration of the award can be made annually at the Mid-Term Governing Board meeting or whenever the Board of Governors deem fit. The submission must be recommended through a member of the Board of Governors. Each nomination shall be accompanied by a write-up in support of the nomination, highlighting the services and contributions the nominee had made to the profession, institution, and the ASEAN Nation. Let us recognise these deserving individuals in this commemorative book. While it is truly an honour to be conferred with the AFEO honorary membership title, the process of nomination, criteria evaluation, and approval by the committee is a rigorous process. The AFEO Awards Committee is responsible to perform this important task of honouring the deserving individuals who have contributed to the betterment of engineering professions in the region. The AFEO Awards Committee is a committee that is appointed by the AFEO Board and chaired by the Immediate Past AFEO Chairman. This committee evaluates each nomination and eventually make their recommendations for the conferment. The final decision and acceptance shall be made by the Board of Governors. The nominees shall not be informed or communicated with until the Board of Governors have agreed on the final nominations.
